We welcome your input regarding your hobbies and interests.

We're committed to making sure each resident receives the right kind of care at the right time, that is why we have use a Specialist Digital Care Planning system called Nourish.
Our Care Team uses Smart Handheld Devices to log food and fluid intake, pressure relief, weights, and more. The detailed digital records help us monitor potential warning signs easily, ensuring that residents receive all the nutritional care they need to thrive.
Residents' Care Plans are accessible to designated family and friends through our Residents Portal. To stay informed about your loved one's care package and interactions, simply log in using a web browser.
Nutrition
Here at The Firs Care Centre, we pride ourselves on the level of nutrition provided for our residents. Our group nutrition policy is inspired by our commitment to quality and choice. Everyday, we deliver three freshly prepared home cooked meals personally selected by our residents.
Our tea trolley is available throughout the day and filled with delicious cakes and treats from resident snacks.
Our Chef personally meets with each resident when they arrive at the home, to discuss any dietary requirements, including individual preferences and ensuring awareness of any allergies.
Specialist Equipment
Our bedrooms are fully equipped with essential furnishings, including clinical profiling beds. To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, every individual room and communal area is equipped with a specialized emergency call bell system. Additionally, we offer overhead ceiling hoists for those who require them.
All of our bedrooms are furnished with TV aerial points and BT phone lines, and residents have the option to install a private phone line in their room.
We understand the importance of maintaining connections with loved ones, which is why we offer multiple avenues for communication, including WhatsApp, FaceTime, and Amazon Echo Show, as needed.
